Conferences and Workshops 2019

TOP 2019

September 22 to 27 2019

The 12th International Workshop on Top Quark Physics (TOP 2019) will be held at Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Beijing, China. Following the long tradition of the workshop series, the 2019 edition will be dedicated to an overview of the most up-to-date experimental measurements at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and latest theoretical developments on top quark physics. Special focus on theoretical developments related to physics beyond the standard model will be given in a Mini-Workshop with the name “Top Meets New Physics” that will take place on Thursday, September 26th. There will also be a session on top quark physics at future facilities such as the High Luminosity LHC and CEPC/SppC.

September 9 to 13 2019

The conference in Avignon, France, is the 14th International Symposium on Radiative Corrections:
Applications of Quantum Field Theory to Phenomenology. It is devoted to the applications of quantum field theory to particle physics phenomenology. Subjects will include precision calculations for colliders; progress in higher-loop and higher-multiplicity calculations in the Standard Model; cross sections for new physics; interpretations of experimental data; new techniques for calculations; advances in computer-algebra methods; and new theoretical developments.

DPG Spring Meeting

March 25 to 29 2019

Each year, the German physical society invites the scientific community to participate in the annual spring meetings. More than 1000 physicists from experiment and theory in high-energy physics gather this year here at RWTH Aachen University. The scientific program consists of almost 1000 contributions! Of course, the TTK also contributes.

International Conference on Dark Matter & Modified Gravity

February 6 to 8 2019

Dark Matter & Modified Gravity is a 3-day conference taking place from 6 to 8 February 2019 here at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. It aims to bring together physicists as well as philosophers, historians and sociologists of physics/science working at the interface of dark matter and modified gravity. This conference is organized by the project LHC and Gravity within the interdisciplinary, DFG-funded research unit Epistemology of the LHC.
